HEALTHTECH CONNECT 2025

The HealthTech Connect Festival organized October 20-24, 2025 in Iași, in cooperation between strong academic partners: “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi and the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica of Bucharest, aims to create an innovative platform for dialogue and collaboration between technology and medicine specialists.

The Festival brings together international and national speakers who aim to address current topics of interest from fields such as technology, medicine, inter-institutional collaborations and other subjects such as: medical signal processing/artificial intelligence (AI); machine learning in diagnostics; treatment planning/medical simulation systems; virtual reality (VR)/biotechnology; biomedical engineering/portable medical devices; health monitoring/Big Data; health data analysis/3D printing; advanced prosthetics/implantable medical devices; advanced medical imaging technologies; Internet of Medical Things (IoMT); Technology Transfer; innovation, entrepreneurship, and research at the intersection of medical and technology fields.

HealthTech Connect is funded by UEFISCDI (Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation – Romania’s national research funding agency) under the Technology Transfer Festival (FTT) program, which aims to encourage technology transfer activities by developing capacity for stronger relationships between the research environment and the business sector.
